Being registered to vote for the Local Council elections or else for the purposes of the European Parliament elections does entitle you to participate in the abrogative referendum as a voter.

So if you have any doubt please check in order that you are not disappointed when the abrogative referendum is eventually held.

B’2000 vot hu possibli ……. li Alternattiva tirrappreżentak fil-Parlament

2000

2000 vot lill-Alternattiva Demokratika (bħala l-ewwel preferenza) f’Distrett elettorali jistgħu jkunu biżżejjed biex il-Parlament għall-ewwel darba jieħu lura forma aktar demokratika billi jkollu iżjed minn żewġ partiti.

Dan jista’ jsir għax wara bis-sistema elettorali tagħna jintirtu voti mingħand kandidati oħra.
Meta kandidat jiġi elett mal-ewwel count, il-voti iżjed mill-kwota li jkollu jitqassmu skond it-tieni preferenza. Nafu kemm mill-elezzjonijiet li għaddew kif ukoll minn dak li jgħidulna n-nies li l-kandidati ta’ Alternattiva Demokratika jirtu numru minn dawn il-voti.

L-istess jiġri meta jiġi eliminat kandidat. F’dan il-każ il-voti kollha tiegħu jitqassmu skond il-preferenza li jkun imiss (it-2, it-3, il-4 ……..). Il-kanidatati ta’ Alternattiva Demokratika dejjem wirtu numru ta’ dawn il-voti.

Mela hu ċar li 2,000 vot għal kandidat ta’ Alternattiva Demokratika jfissru li jkun f’posizzjoni tajba biżżejjed biex ikun jista’ jiret il-voti li jkun jonqsu u jiġi elett (jew tiġi eletta).
