Minn mina għal pont: ħolma ta’ 50 sena ilu

Mela Chris Said u Franco Mercieca kienu qed joħolmu bil-mina. Issa Refalo reġa’ ħolom bil-pont.

Fl-istess ħin li Anton Refalo qed joħlom b’dan l-imbierek pont (ħolma li ilha għaddejja ħamsin sena) jgħidilna li jrid jiftaħ uffiċċju ta’ Għawdex fi Brussels biex jiddefendi id-drittijiet ta’ Għawdex. Id-drittijiet tar-reġjun.

Mela b’id waħda jippontifikaw bl-insularita doppja li tiġġustifika għajnuna reġjonali għal Għawdex għax bħala gżira hu maqtugħ għalih waħdu. Min-naha l-oħra iridu jeliminaw din l-insularita’ b’link permanenti.

B’żieda ma issues ambjentali u spiża madornali mhux ġustifikabbli jidher li hemm problema ukoll ta’ konsistenza politika.

  1. I actually think a cable car power by solar would be a better alternative..
    This way Gozo does not get choked with cars.

    • I believe the cable car proposal was studied some years back. The optimum site was identified as being in the area known as It-Torri l-Abjad. The difficulty identified, if I remember correctly, was that the very strong winds prevalent in the area make it unsuitable.

    Nisperaw li l-PL ghaqli bizzejjed biex ma jaghmilx xi cucata bhal dawk li sehhew minn l-amministrazzjoni ta’ qabel. Tejatru bla saqaf; Zewg blokks ta’ Parlament ikrah daqs d…….u jekk joghgok f’Bieb il-Belt. Kif seta’ l-PN ma jitlifx l-elezzjoni bi zbalji serji bhal dawn (biex inseemmu biss tnejn…)
    Malta ma taffordjax Mina u anqas Pont. Jistennew 50 sena ohra. U jhallu lill-Ghawdex bi kwietu minflok jirrovinawh bhal ma rrovinaw lil Malta.

  3. Jekk isir dan il-pont se tiġi affetwata Kemmuna? X’tip ta’ żvilupp se jkollha fuqha? Kemm se jiġi jiswa il-pont jew mina biex jintużaw mill-pubbliku. Ngħiduha xi forma ta’ toll irid ikollok. Se jkun jiswa aktar mit-tariffi tal-Gozo Channel?

  4. L-unika mod li bih mina ghal Ghawdex tista tkun progett siewi, hu jekk tkun parti min UNDEGROUND TRANSPORT NETWORK MALTIJA.
    Skond l-injoranza tieghi, Malta ghandha bzonn kbir ta underground transport network.
    Dan ikun progett li fih ammont enormi ta vantaggi, fosthom.
    1- Jaljena l-attenzjoni tal-industrija tal-kostruzzjoni u jzomma biezla taht l-art.
    2- Jikkreja sistema ta transport publiku, b-“timings” efficjenti u li tista torbot fuqhom.
    3- Tohrog progett kapitali li jista jigi zviluppat u mtejjeb minn legislatura ghall-ohra.
    4- Jinholqu hafna mpiegi relatati mal-Underground network.
    5-Ikollok mezz ta transport effettiv f’qafas ta national disaster situation. (Bhalissa f’kaz ta dizastru naturali li jeffettwa t-Triq Aldo Moro, Malta tiggammja. Hafna nies fiz-zona tal-port imutu ghax ma jkunx possibbli li ambulanza tasal sa hdejhom.)

  5. Ghawdex ghandu jithalla fil-paci. Hadd ma ghandu d-dritt ikisser dak li holqot in-natura. Donnu hawn pika bejn iz-zewg partiti. Min se jaghmel l-aktar hsara?

    Dawn tal-lum, ma baqax post fejn jibnu jew ibillu idhom, allura la mhux fl-art ejjew induru ghal bahar. L-aqwa li fl-ahhar jirrendi !!!
