  1. Thank you for this – the more that can be said to alert the pubic all over the world of these dangers the better. The push for GMOs is to enhance the profits of the already fat global organisations. 400 scientists quoted in The recent UN International Assessment of Agriculture Science and Technology for Development (April 2008) concluded that GM crops offer no panacea to future food needs and fail to increase crop yields. Those concerned about the proliferation of GM crops far from wanting to limit food production want the needs of the billion or so of the world’s small farmers to be given priority. Their methods of “selectively breeding” wild crops like maize and wheat have been achieving high yields for more than 50 years. May I wish you a happy ??? 2009 ? Helen
